Half-Orc

The Half-Orcs were the soldiers of the Divine Empire, and trace their history back to being created by the Divine Empire as it began its mighty expansion.  The name Half-Orc stems from this history - they are said to descend from the legendary Orcs, a mighty and war-like race that existed before the Divine Empire.  Some Half-Orcs consider themselves improved, other mythologize their supposed ancestors into being truly superior.

Since the fall of Divine Empire, Half-Orcs have become soldiers without a cause.  Some have taken up with the Worldly Empire, some have become mercenaries, and, most notoriously, many have turned to crime, becoming thugs and enforcers for criminal syndicates.

Half-Orcs are known to supposed to be honorable and loyal warriors, fast and furious.  Properly employed Half-Orcs (soldiers) are treated with approval, but the line between mercenary and thug is fearfully slim.  Orcs are known to be loyal, violent, simple, and leadership-adverse.
